What We Are Launching in Autumn 2026

From autumn 2026 we will offer complete VMP S and VMP M courses covering both practical and theoretical preparation as well as the official practical skills assessment required by the Czech Inland Waterways Authority (SPS). As an authorised examiner we will issue the official confirmation of successful skills assessment — the document required when applying for the VMP licence.

VMP S (sailing) courses will take place at Lipno, YC Kovářov, on the Cafe 24 sailboat. VMP M (motorboat) courses will be held in Čelákovice or Prague. Follow our website or contact us to register your interest in advance.

What We Offer Right Now

Don't wait until autumn — you can already book a refresher sail at Lipno where you can practise manoeuvres at your own pace under the guidance of an experienced instructor. We also offer practical and theoretical preparation focused directly on the VMP S assessment requirements: departing and berthing at a pontoon, tacking and gybing, Man Overboard (MOB) manoeuvre, basic sailing knots and inland waterway regulations.

This preparation is ideal for anyone planning to sit the VMP S assessment who wants to feel confident in their skills. The examiner evaluates your existing abilities — training with us significantly increases your chances of success.

Why Prepare With Us?

We are an authorised examiner for the Czech Inland Waterways Authority — we know exactly what the examiner looks for and what to focus on. Our instructors will prepare you for the specific manoeuvres and situations that arise during the assessment. Training takes place on the same boat used for the assessment — no surprises on the day.
