The controller of your personal data is Milan Ptáčník, trading as StormJib Sailing Academy, IČO: 47505508, registered address Sokolovská 142, 250 87 Mochov. In other words — your data is managed by us, StormJib, and we do not sell it to anyone.

We collect only what we genuinely need:

Course booking – to confirm your booking, send payment instructions and keep you informed about the course, we need your name, email and phone number. The legal basis is performance of a contract.

Contact form – if you write to us via the form on the website, we will retain your name, email, phone number and message content in order to reply. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in communicating with people interested in our services.

Newsletter – if you give us consent, we will occasionally send you news about courses, dates and StormJib events. Consent is voluntary and can be withdrawn at any time — simply click the "unsubscribe" link in the email or write to us. The legal basis is your consent.

Website analytics – we use Google Analytics on the website, which anonymously tracks visitor behaviour. This data is anonymised and does not identify individual visitors. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in improving the website.

Form protection – the contact form is protected by Google reCAPTCHA, which prevents misuse by automated bots.

Data related to bookings and contract performance is retained for 5 years from the last course (due to statutory obligations in accounting and taxation). Data from the contact form is deleted within 1 year of the last communication. Newsletter consent remains valid until withdrawn.

We do not sell or provide your data to third parties for their own purposes. We share it only with:

• the Reenio booking system – for managing bookings and payments,
• our email service provider – for sending confirmations and newsletters,
• Google – in connection with Analytics and reCAPTCHA services,
• public authorities – where required by law.

You have the right at any time to:

• find out what data we hold about you,
• correct inaccurate or incomplete data,
• request erasure of data we no longer need,
• restrict processing in cases provided for by law,
• object to processing based on legitimate interest,
• withdraw consent to newsletter mailings,
• lodge a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection (ÚOOÚ), Pplk. Sochora 27, 170 00 Prague 7, www.uoou.cz.
